Program Feature: Menu Planning
The menu planning meeting is one of the most exciting meetings at B’More Clubhouse. This meeting happens every third Thursday at 2pm downstairs in the membership unit. Even if you can’t make it for the meeting, you can always put your ideas in the menu planning box, located by the red water cooler. First step of the meeting is to go through all of the ideas from the menu planning box and fit them into the schedule. Sometimes the recipes from the box are just for the main course, so we get to decide the sides that will go with them.
After going through the box, it’s time for everyone at the meeting to start sharing their ideas for lunches, brunches, and social events. Sometimes the meal ideas can get very creative as we are all tossing around ideas. We also make sure we have healthy options because we know that wellness is very important! Our Culinary crew always makes sure we have fruits or vegetables with our lunches to keep us strong and healthy. Sometimes when people propose an idea with one of their own recipes they have the opportunity to guest chef, and lead the Culinary crew for the day. Menu planning is super important and a great time!
